November is prematurity awareness month, and the Miles For Babies committee is kicking the month off with it' first event. On Sunday, November 15th at 2:00p.m., behind the Caldwell Fire Department there will be a balloon launch in honor and memory of all premature babies. Following the launch there will be a chili and baked goods sale, all by donation. Also, there will be a 50/50 raffle, Christmas tree decorated with lottery tickets and gift certificates from local businesses with chances being sold for $1.00, and also luminaries are being sold for $1.00. All lumiaries will be displayed at the walk. Please come and show your support, and help make a difference in the lives of preemie babies.
The Miles For Babies committee meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Noble County Health Department at 6:00p.m. Snacks and refreshments are available.
Anyone is welcome to attend these meeting and we encourage you to bring your fundraising ideas along with you.
September 14th, 2010, we will hold our 1st Miles For Babies Walk in Caldwell, Ohio. Anyone interested in helping us plan the walk is encouraged to attend these meetings, or if you are interested in forming a team for the walk, please feel free to contact SueAnn Hooks at 740-305-5027!
